To add an account to an IMAP client (like Thunderbird or some other mail client on your phone), some settings are required.  These will typically be:

USERNAME: your email address
PASSWORD: your email password
DOMAIN NAME: the part of your email address after "@"
IN-COMMING SERVER: imap-mail.outlook.com
IN-COMMING PORT: 993
IN-COMMING
OUT-GOING SERVER: smtp-mail.outlook.com
OUT-GOING PORT: 587
OUT-GOING SECURITY: STARTTLS
